Suzhou is often nicknamed as the Venice of China, because of its many canals, stone bridges, pagodas, and meticulously designed gardens. Worth a visit are the many gardens, Ligongdi Park, Baita Road, Ping Jiang Road, the Suzhou Industrial Park, Jinji Lake, Shan Tang Street, the many temples, the Suzhou museum, the Suzhou Opera Museum, and the Suzhou Silk Museum.
