Why Turkey?

Historic Setting: Anatolia is one of the oldest continually inhabited regions in the world. Hittites, Phrygian, Ionian, Lycian, Lydian, Carian, Pamphylian Kingdoms and Persians existed in this multicultural region and it fell to Alexander the Great in 334 BC. It subsequently became the capital of the Eastern Roman or Byzantine Empire and later The Ottoman Empire.

In the UNESCO "World Cultural Heritage List" there are 9 heritage sites from Turkey, out of 830 properties around the world.

Two Continents: Turkey is a unique country that lies along two continents. One side of Turkey is part of Europe, while the rest is geographically situated in West Asia.

Turkey proudly sits astride two continents: a position that has given rise to a culture that reflects both East and West.

Turkish Cuisine: Turkish cuisine is largely the heritage of Ottoman cuisine, which can be described as a fusion and refinement of Central Asian, Middle Eastern and Balkan cuisines. Aside from common Turkish specialities that can be found throughout the country, there are also many region-specific specialities such as kebabs, mezes, baklava, kadayıf, künefe, etc.

Climate: Turkey's diverse regions have different climates, with the weather system on the coasts contrasting with that prevailing in the interior. Because of Turkey's geographical conditions, while one is lying under the sun other one will stroll through another destination in a snowy day.

Hospitality: Hospitality is one of the cornerstones of the Turkish way of life. Turkish people are the most gracious and generous hosts as a result of their natural instincts.

High Quality Hotels: Istanbul hosts the major 5 star international hotels with will cover all your meeting requirements.

Cost Efficiency: In comparison to Mediterranean and European destinations, the price levels in Turkey are relatively lower.

Modern Society: With the special location of Turkey, the society reflects the way of living in western standards.

ISTANBUL

Istanbul is bounded on the north and the south by two seas, the Black Sea and the Sea of Marmara, respectively. The western half of the city lies in Europe while the eastern half is situated in Asia; in between the two halves flows the Bosphorus Strait. Istanbul, representing the Asian city nearest Europe and the European city closest to Asia, is a leading port whose importance is stressed by the age-old trade routes passing through the Bosphorus. To meet in such a place where even continents meet will create unforgettable events in Istanbul.

ANTALYA

Antalya is a city full of sunshine and opportunity, a place where work and leisure go hand in hand. As well as being the main holiday destination on the Turkish Riviera, it is also a sought-after congress centre with a capacity to accommodate more than 50 000 delegates. For those on the look out for a unique convention and incentives destination, Antalya has it all. All your requirements and more can be satisfied here. There are not many places that can boast both extreme good value for money and high standards of accommodation and service, a warm, sunny climate and an exhaustive range of leisure facilities.

CAPPADOCIA

Cappadocia which is unique in the world and is a miraculous nature wonder is the common name of the field covered by the provinces of Aksaray, Nevsehir, Nigde, Kayseri and Kirsehir in the Central Anatolian region. Hot Air Ballooning is the most favored activity in this region.

CSR

As a successful and experienced DMC in this sector, Sipahiler takes active role for a greener Turkey and in relation to this responsibility Sipahiler becomes the Bronze Partner of “Green Meeting Industry Council”. Initial aim is to use energy efficiently and not to waste resources in events by selecting the suppliers from the ones that are adapted the standards required for green meetings.

Moreover, with this social responsibility since 3 years Sipahiler has been working with CEKUL (Protection of Environment & Cultural Assets Foundation) which is a non-governmental organization for nature and culture protection and 7 trees are planted for each completed event.
